I like the game's concept and depending on the curse stages, different things can happen. Here's what I found:

Stage 0: Human. Nothing special. You can interact with objects and events normally.

Stage 1: Short fox ears. Entering the town will be harder now.

Stage 2: Short fox tail

Stage 3: Fox nose. If you find the cloaked figure, they will give you a lantern for free.

Stage 4: Long fox ears. You will always gain money if you track down a magpie, but you will lose humanity. You can also go through the thick fog without losing any rations, but you will lose humanity as well.

Stage 5: Long fox legs.

Stage 6: Long fox tail. You can no longer enter the town. The cloaked figure will give you rations and a lantern if you don't have one.

Stage 7: Fox muzzle. You gain more rations for drinking water. You can also catch fish without having to use your fishing pole. However, you will lose humanity if you choose this option.

Stage 8: Fox arms. You can no longer fish for rations.

Stage 9: Quadrupedal. The cloaked figure will think you are an ordinary fox and will not give you anything.

Stage 10: 100% fox. You have lost your humanity. Game over.

I got a game over and fully succumbed to the curse on my first attempt. The game is doing everything to turn you into a fox, which surprised me at first. However, on my 2nd attempt, I managed to rid myself of the curse and got to stage 3 of the transformation. I got to later stages of the transformation in my subsequent attempts and found that there was a hidden path leading to the apothecary if I explored the forest long enough.

I'm not sure if it is possible to beat the game fully as a human, but I liked playing the game repeatedly to find new things. And I'm pretty sure there are some things I've missed. Great game!

Thanks! My main idea was that transforming should modify how you interact with the world and how others interact with you. The difficult part is figuring out how each transformation stage can change that interaction in a significant way.  I will likely create a new game when I can collect enough of those ideas.

I also like the idea of transformations being difficult to avoid, and the player trying but failing to resist them. Transformations are what make the game interesting after all.

it would appear to not be working at the moment, after clicking the only functioning hyper link it displays
"The forest stretches around you in every direction. It’s quiet, except for the occasional sound of birds or the crack of a branch in the distance.

It does still work on my PC and my phone. This could be an incomplete download or incompatible browser, try to refresh the page or use another browser.

well it turns out there was an extra add blocker on my VPN, thanks for this though i was able to confirm it was not any browser after trying it, helped narrow down the problem! :)

Nice game! I found the fox/rabbit/eagle ending.

i got the full transformation ending!

Pretty good! Is there any way to get another type of amulet once you've picked one up, or are you locked into that ending?

Currently you are locked into that ending.

I may add more stuff later, but in general I like the idea of the player not having control about which species they are transforming into.
